Damn, that Advert!

Look at this advertisement above. I got it from the Arab News. It is from the dealer of Hyundai. I saw many such adverts. All of them say the same thing:

1. No down-payment

2. No Guarantor

3. No This, No That, No Bla , No Bla…

4. No Management fee

The Advert looks so wonderful that any person would run to the dealer to get their brand new car. They go there, look at the new cars and then find the customer service guy and sit down to make the deal.

” So , what do you need from me ? ” asks the customer.

” I need a Letter from Your Company ( guarantor), Copies of Paid Bills, Proof of Salary Transfers, 10% down payment and the Management fee will be…”

This actually happens. My question : WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?

Why say all those things on promotional flyers and ads and then say something else when the customer is there to buy the product? Is that not deception?

I really don’t get why all this garbage is required by companies. HEY! A guy has ID. Get a copy of that. What do you care whether he has a salary or not? You want amount X every month. Make him sign a contract that he will pay this. If he does not pay it, report him. He can avoid payment or leave the country without paying anything EVEN if you have all those documents, right? So , why the HELL are you wasting time and making FAKE advertisements? Promising what you do not intend to give.

Because , if I were to go by the advert – I think I can walk into the Hyundai dealer’s showroom and drive out with a brand new car, right? But, that is not what shall happen , right?

I don’t know what kind of retard sits in an office and decides to make life difficult for people so that his payments can be secured! Payments CAN be secured without making life difficult for people. And there is no 100% guarantee that there will be no defaulters. There will be. That  is why you must have a collection officer. DUH!

Anyway, I have this advertisement ( pic).. and I will take this with me to the dealers. And, if he starts talking papers and guarantees, I will stick this advert on his forehead and leave. Not that I need a car, I do not. But, I wanted to buy 3 cars for my staff and all they have been doing is going to showrooms and coming back with a new requirement each time! Sick of this.

Never Lie.. Get a Hyundai..  ( new slogan suggested by me)…

:D

  1. Hiya, I’m really glad I’ve found this info. Today bloggers publish just about gossip and internet stuff and this is really annoying. A good site with exciting content, this is what I need. Thanks for making this web-site, and I will be visiting again. Do you do newsletters by email?
