I have bought the latest air conditioners, seen the latest splits in action and I am currently experiencing, like you if you are in Riyadh, amazing heat!
This air con you see in the picture is very old. At least 20 years I would guess. But let me tell you, NOTHING cools better than this ! Nothing.
Has quality of production gone down? The pharmacist close to my house was showing me a huge split unit he swears was bought for 37000! I had to stand in front of it for a while trying to figure out why someone would spend so much on this! It was lousy!
This one in the pic( I think it is Hitachi) can be bought for 200!
